2005 AIA/LA STUDENT SUMMIT

The first AIA/LA Student Summit was held on September 27th, 2005 and hosted at the Offices of Johnson Fain. Student Representatives from various local Architecture + Design Schools had the opportunity to interface with Board Members from the AIA/LA Chapter. The purpose of the meeting was twofold: for the AIA/LA to reach out & establish the organization as a valuable resource and also to receive feedback from the students regarding how best to serve their needs as future architects + designers.

With upcoming programs such as the Annual 2x8 Exhibit, Charrettes, YAF's New Beginnings Panels and a Student Design Awards Competition planned for 2006, together with the AIA National Convention hosted by the Los Angeles Chapter in June 2006, AIA/LA looks forward to your participation, ideas and input.
